@Aharndts No sorry, do you screw the stem into the pipe? if you do then the metal tenon must have a screw thread on it? that makes it hard to replace, but if the sten is just a push fit into the pipe then that is a lot more easy, and I am certain with your wood working skills you will be able to do all the needed work your self, you can do it, yes you can
@Aharndts Yeah, come to think of it, I believe it was MY older brothers that caused the most frustration around the house!... YEP! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! LOL
Jake HAckert does stem repairs ! And cheap maybe 20 to 25 bucks and your set buddy.

does the metal tenon screw into the shank? if not then just another stem and keep the proper one in a safe place
