@MissedByAge really depends on the quality of carbon fiber you want certain grades are only like 50 bucks per square yard and Unidirectional ones can even be as heap as 30 buck per square yard. But the high grades used for racing wheels or anything that requires a heavy workload and lightweight qualities can cost up to 300 bucks per square yard. When I got mine I got it from "fibreglast" a tad expensive, but a decent product. Just google it.

@AdighaSreqwash the only way it can really shine is if the finish is good to begin with - you can buff and polish but it only goes so far.

is best do the model and mould,,, before aply you resin and fiber, easy ! the model is in wood !

THere's just one thing I'd like to know, usually when you see people making CF pars they do it in multiple layers, one by one. You seem to have done it with one layer, or did you just put on all the layers at once and saturated them with resin?

@Sebastijanovski i only did one layer because the windshield is just for show - and want it light.
