The video is taken from the PC-8801 version of Snatcher.

This will be the third Snatcher game I've beaten including the MSX2 and SegaCD versions.

"Beyond Sorrows" is the name of the song playing at around 3:13. Fits nicely with this dark & sad ending.

  • is there also an englisch version of the game on a system?

  • For the PC-88 version? Nope there isn't. The only system with english versions of Snatcher is the MSX2 and SegaCD.

  • there is an english ips patch if u have a pc-88 emulator

  • I wish. The only english translations are the MSX2 and SegaCD.

  • Too bad you didn't record the ending credits, I really love the ending theme. Well, I guess it's because the ending credits from this version are almost 20 minutes long.:D

  • Mine to. The ending song is awesome. I actually have it recorded but, yeah, it's durations is too long to upload.

  • The Ending music is for me, one of the best ending of the videogames ^^

  • @Eneru89 umm no

  • this was in mgs or not?

  • @AFX6502

Sega CD version is the best one!!! Aside from the censorships, but it still rock!!!

  • @HannesHansen Considering that the game doesn't end there in the PCE port (or on such a dark note), i'd say the slightly more upbeat tune is appropriate in a odd way.

  • I really wish I could find the music to this version...

  • The music from the PC-88 version of Snatcher is way better that the music from the MSX version of Snatcher...The PC-88 music is almost same as the music from PC Engine CD/Sega CD version of Snatcher.

  • If it was they'd probably used the arrangement from the PC Engine version which was good in it's own way but it sounded way too upbeat for the scene.

  • PC-88 is the best

  • Keep in mind the 3RD chapter WAS going to be in the PC-88/MSX versions, but Konami had to be a dick and forced Hideo to publish the game because he was behind scedule.
