usually live versions of good songs usually get as the song gets older. the difference between an artist and a musician is between someone who tries to make the song feel new to the audience each time and someone who "re-performs" the same song they wrote 20 years ago..

the most mesmerizing of performers all change their arrangements over the years to suit their expressive needs at the time--which change... all the time
