  • @parfitt21 The Americans claims the sae thing (obey the rules of war)

    .

Until they get caught pissing on corpses. Historians have dug and the British, just like every other army, did indeed do nasty things to their conquered soldiers and civilians. Remember: Ghandi didn't rebel just for fun, but because his people were being mistreated. Ditto here in the States

    .

  • @parfitt21 Also, Jack Dawson never screwed a lady named Rose DeWitt Bukater on the Titanic.

  • @BettorOffSingle You butthurt good sire ?

  • There will never be an american revoulotion film which is bias towards americans or that wont have the militia doing backflips and fighting off thousands of redcoats with a spear on top of a mountain

  • @parfitt21

dosnt cornwallis chide tavington multiple times for killing surrendering troops?

"the colonists are our bretheren, and when the revolution is over, we will reestablish commerce with them. surrendering troops will be given quarter, these brutal tactics must stop."

  • The producer, Emmerich, is german, and some said they were trying to make the Nazis look better by comparison.

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun Only officers were gentlemen. This was a time when if a noble man accidentally burped during dinner with friends, he'd later hang himself out of shame. Yes, literally commit suicide because he burped. And at the same time committing war crimes across the world and exploiting children for cheap labour - a hobby that to this day persists in many former British Colonies such as India and Nigeria.

  • @parfitt21 Completely incorrect. We tortured the American Colonials, we used Hessian Infantry mercs to do a significant part of the butchering - they came in handy when we needed to crush the rebellion in Ireland shortly after. We set up Torture camps in Kenya & before we left we burnt all our files to cover up the holocaust we committed there. We viciously crushed democratic movements in India, Malaya, Pakistan. It was Prussia who outlawed torture, not the Britain Empire. Empires kill.

  • @parfitt21

    Oh I'm sure they did.

everyone breaks the rules of war once in a while.

you can't stereotype every single soldier as a "gentleman"

  • @parfitt21 You say so now, but nobody can tell for sure what has happend in a small villages!
