Splendid "Futuristic Dance" and singing
Dancing and singing, yoga and chocolates - Silke Heusinger and Thilo Himstedt carried the audience away with a highly moving unusual mixture of these fields. On April 6, they presented their new program "Who is dancing? Who is singing?" for the first time in Germany, to be more precise, in the old indoor riding arena Cavallo, the most beautiful location in Hanover.
The arena is filled with silence and darkness. Only one voice lingers quietly between the old walls. - A vigorous accordion solo springs from the boxes and a dancer breaks through the space of the stage with unbelievable intensity. A large blue fish is floating from the ceiling. A bright, clear voice and a cello are begging for patience while a black impatience between comic and despair tries to restrain its tension and at long last sinks into meditation. - A yogi is standing on his head, and a dance coaxingly and searchingly flows about his smooth and even movements. - A fashionable beauty absent-mindedly pushes an ornate cart à la Fellini, overflowing with chocolates and mousse au chocolat, past the audience (all of whom get their share!). - These pictures are but a fraction of the great variety of creative fields and unusual interludes to be seen, heard and tasted this evening in the Cavallo. The audience's eyes are constantly focussed on the stage, the performers' presence is transferred to those in front of them.
What Silke Heusinger wishes for her audience is "that people should find themselves and enter new spaces in their inner" - demonstrating this on stage by making the music visible with her movements, opening new spaces, dividing the air as if it were water. Strength but also delicateness, amazement and love for the world, courage and uncompromising passion for life is what can be seen on stage, what fascinates the audience, makes it wonder and touches it.
Could someone tell me the name of this song ? I've also been dancing on it, but no one did ever told me what it's name was ...
Thanks a lot !
