There are like a million unofficial patches, which one you do you need to install the comp mod on top of?

Originally it was for use with the official 1.2 patch and wesps unofiicial patch - though I believe in the 1.4 version (the latest and possibly final version) I believe it can be done straight over the official 1.2 patch. Further information can be found on the comp mods site too. ^^
