Dominican University nutrition science students presented their unique food creations during the 2009 Experimental Food Industry Showcase on Tuesday, April 14. The food products were healthy, low-fat and low-calorie, such as the Man Muffin, a low-fat alternative to the breakfast muffin; the vegetable ice cream, including three servings of vegetables in one scoop of ice cream; and the mac n' cheese with hidden vegetables.
