Andrey Iskanov's "Nails" - Unearthed Films

This Russian horror film from director Andrey Iskanov hits the nail right on the head. A detective utilizes trepanning (drilling a hole in one's head) in an attempt to see the demons that hide behind the veil of his reality. This over-the-top psychological horror film pushes all known boundaries as it literally opens up the mind to the possibility of a reality that is just beyond reach - unless you use nails that is!

It's a great film. Like Jim Van Bebber, Andrey Iskanov really shows what you can achieve on a minimal budget. And when Unearthed Films releases his latest movie, Philosophy of a Knife, I think you'll hear his name mentioned a lot more.

It's awesome, like a violent LSD trip.
