Hey your effort is appreciated, but you seem to be miss spoken.
The US Industry is in trouble, Anime Industry in japan is on top of itself, Tv Episodes come on the internet, after they are on Japanese TV , that the original air time "the original time most anime appears".
Everything your saying is cool but, please don't forget its the US Industry =D
Also this problem in the US has been happening for more then 10 years, and sorry to say the internet IS the reason so I agree kind of.

@KMutlu17 Thanks for the response, Anime was here before there was a US industry and it will be here after, The Anime industry does not depend on the US sorry to say, Ive been watching anime longer then you have been alive my friend before there was almost any US industry "Well maybe not that long 'lol"
I just don't think its right to scare fans with false wording =(
The Anime industry is doing GREAT "New Anime Every few Months" =D
US industry is dieing yes, and your efforts are appreciated.

@Demodesrev I was watching it online at first but chose to get a monthly sub on Crunchyroll. Unfortunately, the licensing is a total pain for someone from a small country in Europe such as the Netherlands. We don't even get anime shows meant for an older audience (16+ I'd say) on TV while kids and the younger audience gets shows.
This, the licensing on CR and availablility of DVDs here kind of forces me to watch other shows through other means. I don't like it either ;/

@DownwardSpiralxx Yes :) Totally agree with you, the tv industry in whole is getting hit by the downloading and the web.I remember when a season of tv was 26 episodes that's including anime., lol I really do miss that.

@TheAMVAlliance Actually the Japanese anime/manga industry is also having a lot of trouble. Read any of the articles on Anime News Network or other sites about it. Series not having funding to be completed, and Mangaka very frustrated over the scanlations online and stealing of their work. Yana Toboso (Kuroshitsuji), Rei Hiroe(Black Lagoon),Kouta Hirano(Hellsing) Are just a few who have spoken up about how disgusted they are with people stealing what they work so hard on.

The anime industry in Japan is NOT fine. A major contributor to the money for new episodes in Japan comes from licensing overseas. Ppl who download anime/manga are destroying the industry in US AND Japan! 3 major anime companies in Japan went bankrupt, a coalition of mangaka are advocating antipiracy, & anime companies are working together to sue those stealing. You. Are. STEALING. Not from the US but from the artists & industry you claim to love.
If you really love it, you'd buy & support it.

Let me say this, you're a kid and my advice would be to stopping believing everything you see on Youtube. Not the best place and neither is forums. People say something and it spreads quickly so just because alot of people are talking about it doens't mean its true. Yes in american the anime industry is having a hard time but its the same with many things in the USA. Its the economy, people just love to point fingers and toss blame around.

nonono the anime industry in America is dying and I'm glad.
The anime industry in Japan is doing fine and the only industry you will be helping is people like Funimation who just buys the rights to anime and resells it with dubs and translations.
I will continue to buy figures and DVDs from JAPAN and download my anime for free.

Shit I've lost count of how much anime I have bought, but it would be enough to buy a small car.

I'm not the one to buy DvD's for anime, so I will support manga instead, by buying two books every couple weeks.
yea im gonna start doing this
