I live in playa del carmen for 10 ten years till now, and police all the time take drunk people to jail, when they just fall sleep on the street or just being annoying, im not a police fan, but they really care about do a peaceful place to stay, dont hesitate to spend your holiday here, there is good prices in 5 stars hotels that you wont believe it, cheers
