Starting from move-in day, it's easy to feel at home at the UO. Student housing is based in residence halls, not dorms, because they're more than just a place to sleep. Choosing a residential Freshman Interest Group allows you to live alongside your classmates, or choose a special interest residence like an Honors, Music, or Multicultural Hall. Or just leave it up to fate! Either way, your hallmates will be your neighbors, your classmates, and your new best friends. And don't forget brain food: from cappuccino to burritos to stir fry, your meal points will buy you chow at any of seven dining venues, a far cry from the typical college cafeteria fare.
