MOTHER 2 in Japanese Smash Bros.

As many EarthBound fans know by now, a demo of EB was removed from Smash Bros. Brawl when it was localized into English and other languages. Boourns.

So the next best thing we can do is jealously watch Japanese fans enjoy their MOTHER 2 demos. This video is of someone trying to get as far as possible in the five minute time limit. The demo starts the player after the naming screens, but even so, you can't get very far in five minutes.

To all you FF Fans who hate Mother, name a turn based game where you can fight hippies, zombies, aliens, cops and old ladies. Name a TBG that can capture something so sad and emotional and make you still think about it years after. Name a TBG series that hasn't turned into cash-in bullcrap over the years. Name a TBG series that has all these things and I will never look at earthbound again.
