Thanks folks! It's been a fun ride and an honor!

FYI, this was not my video. So my comment was in no way related to any form of self interest. Interesting that you made that assumption though. I would hope you don't look at everything in that way.

Thanks to everyone again for participating in the 2011 Eco-Comedy Video Competition. The decision was difficult to make and we want to encourage all of you to keep making fantastic films with positive messages.
This year, we had a tie, which means the winners will be sharing the $1000 price. Please congratulate our colleagues JOSH RACHLIS and BEN ZOLNO for their videos AN INCONVENIENT RUTH and PLASTIC STATE OF MIND.
Congratulations! Please e-mail us to find out how to retrieve your price.

Thank you all for submitting an interesting array of videos! Choosing the finalists was not an easy task. Congratulations to our top five:

The winner will be announced at the Environmental Film Festival in Washington, DC on March 22. Good luck!

@ecocomedy2011 Your not choosing the Green Tea Party Posse entry was rather unfortunate and perplexing. Especially given that it seems to be attracting attention with hits from many countries and a growing total hit number.

@hrs1026 thank you for your comment. In the process of choosing videos for the finalists, we do not regard the number of times it has been played or who uploads it. We have a selection of relevant judges that determine which videos should move up. I'm glad to hear your video is getting attention. Keep up the good work.
