I though so 40 years ago and I still think so today: Johnny Winter was the best rock/blues guitar player coming out in the 1960's and this tune proves it!

munchkinsozland, I and the Laguna Beach people miss Jimi too. I hope that Johnny takes care of himself 'cause that talent is needed by guitar players as well as fans, for inspiration.

@bobby7771117 jimi and johnny have jammed together. their mutual respect for eachother's playing held them back from really letting loose, though; according to an interview i read with johnny.

Yes true !

This man is one of the best guitarists period! I think Jimi Hendrix would say the same thing! Of course, if Jimi 's life wasn't controlled by drugs, one can only imagine where Jim Hendrix would have taken guitar playing to! Peace and Love, BobbyK

Johny is great on guitar for this cut, but who backed him up? what a band of no talent slackers! An Johny never was much of a vocalist.
