Windows 7 on the Acer Travelmate 290 with ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 Pro

In this video you see Windows 7 running on a 6 year old Acer Travelmate 290 (video playback, ...).
I couldn't imagine that it will run so well on this old machine. Of course, Windows Aero is not activated, because the Mobility Radeon 9700 Pro doesn't support it.

The system configuration:
- Intel Pentium M CPU (Centrino 1) 1,5 GHz
- 2 GB DDR SDRAM
- 60 GB WD Hard disk
- 64 MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 pro graphics card
- DVD-RW Drive
- Windows 7 Pro x86

The Radeon 9700 mobility does support aero, got it running on my Dell Inspiron 9200 .... Maybe you need some more ram as I noticed in my bios it has 128mb of dedicated memory, but then also shares some of my laptops main ram :)

I installed a newer ATI driver to make Aero work.
