Eating Mel's Mega Burger

On July 9th, 2008, me and a couple of friends went down to Mel's Country Cafe to see if I could manage to get the Mega Mel down. It's 1.5 lb beef, 1 lb bacon, 1/4 lb cheese, and like 2-3 tomatoes, a head of lettuce, half an onion, and more pickles than I care to think about.

I managed to finish it up (in 101 minutes), earning the right to my name and picture on the wall of the establishment and a coupon for another Mega Mel for free, should I live through the digestion.

Congratulations on trying our Burger.

This by the way is the Owner's son, though you may not believe it lol.

Anyways... I'm glad you came into our resturant and tried our burger,and in case you don't know... there has been a new record set for the women... A girl actually ate the Mega Mel in 19 minutes... Then came in a month later and ate it again and 21 minutes.

Drop by again at Mel's sometime, maybe even to try another burger.
