On October 10-11, 2009, we will gather in Washington DC from all across America to let our elected leaders know that now is the time for full equal rights for LGBT people. We will gather. We will march. And we will leave energized and empowered to do the work that needs to be done in every community across the nation.

Our single demand: Equal protection in all matters governed by civil law in all 50 states.

Our philosophy: As members of every race, class, faith, and community, we see the struggle for LGBT equality as part of a larger movement for peace and social justice.

Our strategy: Decentralized organizing for this march in every one of the 435 Congressional districts will build a network to continue organizing beyond October.

First off..the desire to build a family does NOT count as recruitment. Its the same love present in any other family.

And Secondly...gays dont need to recruit...Just where do you think we come from anyway?...I'll tell you..We are born, everyday, into straight families and will continue to do so.

Wow. You two are amazing. It's so nice to see two men as parents. I have always dreamed of having a family of my own, and seeing you two really chokes me up and gives me hope that one day I will find someone who has the same hopes and dreams that I have and will want to start a family. I'm adopted as well and I dream of giving another child love and happiness that my parents have given me. You guys have inspired me and I thank you for it. I wish you and your family much love.

Just got back from a lesbian couple with a child concieved from artificial insemination. She asked if I could be her daddy. how do I answer that one? My daughters both asked where her daddy was as did the other kids on the trip. I am sure this is normal.....????

This is a wonderful video! you Dads are awesome, such lovely, happy children. I am a lesbian, my partner and I have raised my children from a previous marriage. Everyone deserves the right of loving thier partner (straight or gay) so much that they want to share that love by raising a family together. Thanks for this video, I know it was for the march, but it means so much more. Yes, you can be gay and raise loving productive children!

First off 99.9% of pedophiles are declared "straight." Secondly, there are plenty of straight couples that can't reproduce, majority of them undergoing surgery by choice to become that way. So please, educated yourself at least a little bit before opening up your mouth...because really..... you just sound stupid. "Will God judge me for loving or judge you for hating?"
