JP is the most solid drummer you can ever see live. The man is flawless, It really is a honor to watch him play. I've seen Clutch 18 times and Bakerton group 4 times. And everytime he blows my mind away.

@couchslouch13 That's a great obervation man, I have Syncopation, and it's a great book, plus J.P. knows how to play the skins correctly.

i wish more people knew about clutch!!!! they are awesome! and the drummer puts emotion into his music, the whole band does. they're one of my favorites!!!!!!!!

most of this is taken from 'Syncopation' by ted reed, if you don't have it already buy it now! tons of excercises in there, you can actually see JP working through the book on the Full Fathom Five dvd
