as groundbreaking as Avatar was, it just can't compare to this massive undertaking ... The Abyss is so much more incredible for the simple fact that CGI really wasn't around and everything had to be constructed and made in real life -- freaking amazing

that's a fact real watter on a nuclear power plant was more realistic than every CG you can see on the earth it's realy beyond Film Making.
