we have seen the animated series of hasbro adaptations of real action.according to wikipedia Given the recent success of G. I. Horrible casting. You casting is based on costumes and colors... if it was real, most of them could never pull the escence and personalities of the characters.

Katy Perry as Stormer, Lady Gaga as Synergy, Emma Roberts as Kimber, and Demi Lovato as Jetta sound like great match-ups for the movie.

Amanda Seyfried, Katy Perry, Leighton Meester and Demi Lovato as the Misfits? No way! That is the most motley crew of actors I've ever seen. Demi Lovato is Mexican/Italian... not British like Jetta. I side with the other commenters and say maybe Lady Gaga as Synergy but that's it.

What people fail to realize is that Jem needs to be a VOCALIST. A true Soprano. Gaga is an Alto, therefore is ineligible to sing the part. Dianna Agron, alto, therefore ineligible. Take a listen to Music is Magic or Glitter and Gold. Unfortunately, no pop singer today has the chops to sing these songs. I believe that Auditions should be held and vocalists chosen.

a lot of these choics were awful! i would like you see pink as either pizazz or roxy. diana agron would make a great jem. kesha would make a great misfit. brenda song or would make a great aja. (sorry for the mispelling of the names lol) sigourny weaver should be synergy. john stamos would make a great rio! that's all i've got so far!
