Rider almost came a cropper at Burghley 2007

This horse and rider almost came croppers at the leaf pit at burghley horse trials 2007, the horse stumbles down the drop. With slow motion. I don't know who the horse or rider are.

Yes, the rider was great, but did anyone but me notice how the horse's back leg's came out from under her? Oh gosh... that must have been so painful for the horse. :/

@RuffianZenyatta15 but cross country doesnt start the horses at 1 or 2, and ik a 6 year old race horse and a 20 year old cross country horse... The race horse can barly walk and has a saver sway back, the cross country horse is being used for good beginers and intrmedite riders on small jumps and she still gallops around in her pasture with the young horses and so far shes stiff in the morning and when its cold but she warms up and then shes fine.

@TheSofieLee But in cross country horses gallop for much longer distances, up and down hill and over solid jumps that can be over 4 feet high and 6 feet wide. I have heard of horses collapsing from exhaustion in cross country. I barley hear of horses in racing collapsing. Also there are no reports of a racehorses heart or lungs bursting in a race. What is more natural to a horse, racing 1 mile or less around a flat soft track or galloping for 15 minutes up and down hill and over huge jumps.
