I went broadest sense of god, then fundamental baptist christianity, I was even going to be a pastor and did time at Moody bible institute and then finally arrived at athiest.

I like it when people think I am a dirty evil atheist who has never believed as they do. I ROFL

About as 'fake' a christian as I was. I like it when people think I am only an atheist because I was screwed by the Watchtower and "gave up on god", or because I don't understand the bible, or some other nonsense.

When Shaz made that ex-JW atheist video, I was pretty much done with him...I wish him well in his mission, but I'm not interested in seeing his work anymore.

I don't wish him well in his mission. Pointing out errors in the Watchtower and whatnot is one thing, but then man has an agenda and prays on vurnerable people trying to scare them into believing what he does. His intentions may be good, but as far as his mission to convert ex jws to his way of thinking, I hope he fails.

Yeah, he thinks he is saving people. The trouble is, so do the JWs. No difference there, the only difference is the set of beliefs behind the attitude.

Then that idiot 'moses' brought all the tribes of Isra-EL to the foot of the erupting volcano - totally ignorant of the danger, no thanks to their non-existent 'gawd' ... Where's a pyroclastic flow when you REALLY need one...?? Then there's the worship of a bronze snake being O-K with YHWH, but the worship of a golden calf (goddess worship) wasn't... The descriptions of warfare in OldTest very typical of Middle Eastern warfare, but worshipped by clueless Europeans whose ancestors were PaGaN..

I eventually left the JWs - and exited Christianity at the same time - because I spotted far too many references in the bible that made no sense at all - the first one that I spotted - at the age of 8 - was the description of the 'mountain' where 'Moses' received the 10 commandments - clearly a description of an erupting volcano, yet the Israelites (whose name means "worshipper of or people of EL" - not YHWH, btw...) were so primitive and ignorant that they thought it was a manifestation of 'god

Shaz makes alot of good points about the watchtower, I will give him that. It's his 'believe or burn' agenda that bothers me. That, and the way it seems he talks down to people. It could just be my perception of him. He may have good intentions. He probley thinks he is really "saving" people. But people leaving a cult dont need to be scared into another form of belief, which is what he is doing. IDK man, he just really bugs me.

If your gonna fake faith healing, actually have your shills on stage. Don't do like Pat Robertson and tell people that "someone" is being healed.
