Are you using TFS specific pistons or just larger "inline" valve relief pistons?
I'm interested in TFS heads but I have been told that my cam is borderline with larger inline valve reliefs. Thanks

@hickorynut8
On the Green Coupe with the TFS set up we custom Fly Cut the Inline valve releifs to fit the TFS offset valves. If you're borderline stick with an Edelbrock, AFR, Canfield, or similar head.

Straight up, it's a hi comp 306 limited by the heads more than anything. Hence we didn't want to overrun the RPM. We did redo the Trick Flow's with new springs/locks/retainers to handle the 282 cam. We just didn't port or open them up. Mainly a fun street car to scare the bo-tie's with!

What lift does that cam have?
LightWeightRacing 9 months ago
Its an OTS Comp Cam well suited for Aftermarket Pistons with bigger valve reliefs. It will not clear stock pistons without cutting the pistons. Lift is .565/.574 with a 1.6 rocker. Duration is 282/290 Advertised and Lobe Center is 112 Deg. Its great for 2600-6600 RPM with alot of mods to the 5.0's. You need at least a 3.73 gear or better. We recommend a 4.10 to 4.56 with a 28 inch rear tire on power adder cars or a 26 inch tire on All Motor cars. Hope this helps.
