A fanbase who can not stop throwing things at players and can't be bothered to stick around after their team goes 2-0 down at the half had the audacity to say that they were going to show our team what a "Real football atmosphere is like."
Perhaps they'd like to come to Qwest field to see first hand what a real atmosphere is like in a real stadium, not the glorified high school stadium their team currently plays in.
We were told our team couldn't possibly win on the road, in "MLS's Most Hostile Atmosphere", without Fredy Montero.

To Toronto FC fans and the whole damn league:

sounders dont have a soccer specific stadium, and that is what every team is supposed to have so we dont look half ass playin on american football fields. empty seats means there no butts in them, whether you cover or not. a building built for 67,000 looks hollow when half full. you can cover it up.

@HumbungalaHD Qwest has never had grass, no the Sounders definitely don't request to use field turf. No soccer team in the world would choose turf over grass. Yes they bring in temporary grass fields when the big teams come into play for friendlies, but CenturyLink field (what Qwest has been renamed to) has permanent turf. Ways are being discussed on how to make it permanent grass, either the Sounders or the Seahawks would have to play their season in a diff. stadium to allow the grass to grow

@michaeljfaulkner They don't leave the seats open. They have Xbox 360 covers for the seats they do not use. And the Friendly against Chelsea last year? We had 67,000 People at that game. No team in the US comes close to that.

@hellchild5 Qwest has had grass, It must just be the Sounders request to play on Turf. When Barcelona came to play the Sounders, Grass was put in.

@michaeljfaulkner Youre a fucking dumbass, Toronto's stadium looks absolutely terrible on tv. it looks old, looks like shit, similar to the talent of the team and fan support because all i see is people throwing beers and leaving after the 1st half
