  • Seriously? Peter Jackson's career has floundered? What's your point of reference? Sure he may not be prolific, but King Kong, District 9 and Tin Tin aren't exactly "floundering".

  • @grailchaser King Kong was a pretty big flop. He only produced District 9, but yes, Tintin is a worldwide hit. But Tintin does look on track to flop here in the US.

  • Beowulf is an awful movie, doesn't follow the poem at all. In the poem, Beowulf doesn't give in to temptation, he kills Grendel's mother. But in the movie....he does god knows what with her. And, Peter Jackson is a great director. His career has not floundered. King Kong was no flop, that's for sure. District nine was great. Tintin looks great. The Lovely Bones...ehhh not bad, but still! That's a lot more than most can say, and definitely not "floundering"!

  • Beowulf really was awful. Anyone who has read the poem should be disgusted. The screwed up Grendel. Grendel's mother is also a terrible beast. She is not a naked Angelina. The motion capture is also horribly done.

  • Thanks,I'll just read The Hobbit again :)

  • People should watch Beowulf and Grendel, not the animated Beowulf.

And why are you only adressing the USA audience!?

  • Super Gay.

  • HATERS.. gonna hate :D

  • You... suck at this.

  • Also have to point out, Braveheart should not be toted for it's history as it in reality is horribly inaccurate, down to the kilts they wore (scots didn't wear kilts for at least another 2 centuries and at the time of Wallace they wore something actually more akin to what Steven the irishman wore.)

  • @BeyondTheTrailer Do your research, Kong didn't meet the inflated expectations it had but still did "good" making over 200 million box office domestic. Also it was overall a critical success even though it had issues, some even considered it better then the original. Same goes for Tin Tin, 55 million domestic isn't really a 'flop', though the international success is true, and understandable, it's not as known in the US. PS I want that shirt

  • @BeyondTheTrailer : $550 million gross worldwide and an 84% rating on Rottentomatoes (79% from the top critics). Maybe you didn't care for it, and that's fine. But characterizing is as a flop is just silly.

  • I love her shirt!
