yea understood ..... never had any chart plotter experience thaks for the info

You'll find that his Chart plotter has a function on it that you can set your Lat and Long positon when you anchor. If your anchor drags, you will move out of the area set in the alarm and it sounds to let you know you are moving, or have moved from your inititial anhcoring position.. Clear as mud??.. ha ha

Stella Class boats, great sailboats, I recall there were quite a few on the Crouch, I thought they built them there?
Never been to Brid, always went on to Whitby, that sea around the Humber can be vile, huge swells etc.

If you come through the Crinan canal then Tarbert is a very good stop over with many new pontoons.

That's the very man! He's on his way to Troon, from Cornwall, the long way. hehe. The boat is currently here in Eyemouth.
