This video is supposed to be a joke. Dr. Chomsky is the most radical American who speaks "against" America' foreign policies. He is one of the greatest triumph of USA democracy, the idea of freedom of speak being tested to extreme in "reality". You may agree or disagree with his ideas, but I'm not American and that's how I see it (and if you're US citizen, you have my simpathy and best wishes for your great country get better as soon as possible).

"I may not agree with a single word that you say but I will defend with my life your right to say it" (Voltaire).

CONTEXT: Dr. Chomsky was in Holland to debates with the Duch Member of Parlamient Frederik Bolkestein about the lack of International Media coverage of the Cambogia bombings in the 70's. I never found the whole debate, but I think both men won anyway because Dr. Chomsky was in foreign lands debating for Human Rights and Mr. Bolkestein really looked sincere regarding his contempt about Chomsky' critics.

  • Im Argentinian. We have 6 military dictatorships in the last century, that kills many thousand persons. Supported, financiated and trained by the USA in the school of the americans to torture, rape and kill political oposition. The same thing happened all over latin america... dont tell me than what Chomsky saids is a conspiracy theory only because you are ignorants to it.

  • @ImMichaelTaylor

'I see the inequality as inherent in the free market, since the free market doesn't inherently contain the means to resist inequality."

And yet you think that giving unaccountable centralized power to a select group of government vanguards to decide for everyone based on anachronistic and unsustainible ecnomnic fallacies. nevermind that this has resulted in nothing but genocide and slavery everywhere it;s been formally attemopted, NEXT TIME it'll work right.

  • @NiceGuyCody It's quite simple. The various economic regimes are information processing systems. In designing an information processing system you seek to control noise and bias through careful choices about the structure of the system.

It's very easy to see the difference between that and a rigged bet based system which boils down to "the rich are more powerful, and the powerful have more opportunities to get rich, rinse and repeat until enslaved by the elites".

  • Here is my personal response to the title; The way to debunk Chomsky in ten seconds is to pick an audience who hasn't got the slightest clue what debunk even means, and then just pretend you have with Jedi mind tricks and hand-waving.

  • @NiceGuyCody "And yet you think that"

No I don't. You made that up (or repeated someone else's FUD ).

That's about as far from what I regard as the hypothetical ideal to aim for as it's possible to get. Either you're avoiding the point intentionally to gain latitude for your crass oversimplifications and outright deceptive straw-men, or you just didn't get it in the first place.

Read it again, and this time take your head out of your ass first.

  • everyone who does not get a boner ever time Chomsky talks is a psychopathic child raping serial killing Ayn Rand loving Scientologist hypocritical drooler capitalist dog who wants to have their baby and eat it too.

HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT I SUCK COCKS!

  • So not every public figure in Holland is an intellectual, as we see here.

Poor guy was "too busy" to hang around---code for I can't bear to be humiliated by Chomsky in public.

  • @Wahoofuck Chomsky ALWAYS bitchslaps those dumb enough make dumbass statements like 'nowoodcody' (above).

  • @NiceGuyCody Oh, look! He said "genocide"! Oh, look! He said "historical revisionism" as if knows what this means! Oh look! He said "collectivist-totalitarian propaganda" as if he knows what this means! Wait! Huh? No one who appreciates Chomsky does or is any of these things. Oh, yeah! Only anti-Chomsky droolers make such juvenile claims. Go change your diaper and come back in 20 years after you've read a book or two. Oh, and I wiped my butt with Atlas Shrugged last night.

  • @NiceGuyCody You know nothing about Marxism anything. You know nothing about the Sandinistas anything. The only too here, drooler, is you and your uninformed ignorance. Go suck you thumb in private. We don't need to see. You're not even embarrassed to babble the nonsense you've been doing, are you, tool? Here, let's keep this simple at first. Let us know which of Chomsky's books you've read. And, we don't need any excuses. Just a list. Period. Nothing else. So, which books?

  • @NiceGuyCody Uhh...Yes, it is. But this is a little misleading because there is no such thing as an "anarcho"-capitalist anything. There is no such category. Anarchists have always been anti-capitalist, and for obvious reasons. Most folks knowing anything about anarchism know this full well. And neither I, nor Chomsky have ever even hinted at anything "totalitarian", thumb sucker. Of course one would have to actually know his work to know this. Go to a knitting thread, drooler.
