That's real cool, but can you tell me why I would want this? There's never a point when I JUST want to orbit around my objects, so not sure the usefuleness of this when my mouse is right there.

Besides having a cool gadget, it enables you to to directly change your point of view, without the need of using keyboard shortcuts (eg, 1, 2, 3 keys in C4D). Or without the need to point your mouse on the small navigation buttons in the upper right corner.

Also while you're working on a model, it's handy to have the remote in your other hand or on the desk, specifically for this purpose.

Other purposes are situations where you do not always have a mouse (like presentations).

I guess the usefulness might come in when you want that extra fine granular adjustment..with your finger tips...sometimes the mouse can cause the camera to be too coarse...it would be cool if you could use the finger tool to make gestural spline shapes...also... so you are using this tool to MODEL!!! HELLO!!! lol
