  • Hunting High and Low is possibly my favorite album ever

  • @Rover1347 Oh indeed you weren't! Oops! :)

  • @ForeverVachon It wasn´t me who said it.:)

Anyway, always happy to shed some light on A-ha.

  • @Rover1347 I tihnk one of your replies is missing (Why do you say "I mean Norwegian?") anyway I had no idea they vanished from all our airwaves since the mid 80's. Yeah they were great someone made me a tape in the 90's with other of their songs :) Weird that they shut down talent and dish out the crap!

  • @ForeverVachon B; ah I meant Norwegian! I am really brain dead atm, don't shoot me! Also, its pretty obvious they were a huge inspiration for bands like Royksopp. :) I deleted my old comment lol because of that mistake. Anyway, but there are millions of bands that are never heard on the mainstream radio, the radio is an OBSOLETE format, and hundreds of bands who are so-called one-hit wonders, have been STILL around & many have prodigious music careers!

  • @ForeverVachon 2010 they quit as a band, and as mentioned before they´ve made nine studio records. They´ve for example made a James Bond theme *The Living Daylights*, and is said to be a main inspiration for Coldplay amongst others. They´re a brilliant band like no other, and I can´t tell you why they´ve been shut out from media and kind of dumped by their record companies. For better information I suggest you look them up in Wikipedia. Most of their production can be heard on YouTube.

  • @Rover1347 Are you implying they're still making music? Here in USA they were a one hit wonder with "Take on Me" No other songs were ever heard, just like A Flock Of Seagulls or Till Tuesday. Surely the above music must be from 1980's? (I did not watch video, I am doing work on other tabs & just wanted some music).

  • @O11moona Hi

I saw your post on the above video by a-ha and I share your love of a-ha's videos too.

I have attempted to cover their music as a tribute to them and if you have the time to view my uploads, then I would be interested to hear your views. Please note, I haven't used any fancy recording equipment as I don't have any ;o( but just me & my piano playing live recorded on an iphone. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards

  • @Ishtar1929 I know what you mean, and I feel the same way. a-ha is, for me, one of those bands that has produced songs that I have compared elements of my life to (another band who has done that for me is Queen).
