Goodbye Roxy

Dear Roxy,
I love you soo much. I can't even put into words how I feel right now. I always knew this was when the end was going to be. But it's so much harder than I imagined. As I made this video, through all the sobbing, I would get this smile on my face, looking at how happy we were. I don't think I've ever been as happy with you as with another horse. Sweetie, now that you're gone, it's gonna be terrible going to the barn, and seeing the life in the 2nd pasture. Roxy, if I never see you again, I want you to know how much me, Laura, my mom and my dad really love you. You touched all of us, and these are memrories we will never get back. Even if I have over 5 hours of video, thousands of pictures. There was no way everythign was going to be in this one video. But there is no reason it has to. From one picture I can think up of everything we've been through. This video has some clips from the very beginning, to the very end. 3rd Place in EQ, Roxy. That means so much. I know its hard to be where you are now, but you will be fine. Your baby is over there too. The last picture in the video is your new place. I'm glad that you looked happy. Because if you didn't, I would have never been able to leave you. You just mean so much to me. After everything we've been through, and everything we never got to do, and everything we could have done so well, Roxy, you are the sunshine on a cloudy day. But now your gone. I don't know how it will work out. You're what kept me going at my low times. Roxy, I love you. Love Hanna.

Roxy stepped into Laura's life long before we started leasing her. But she stepped into mine on January 4. After the first ride i said "i have a feeling im gonna fall off this pony a lot" And sure enough I did. And in her refusing period, when we both fell off a lot, I was just about ready to give up, But then one day, she was diffrent. Maybe it was her teeth that were floated? Maybe she just knew. But she didn't refuse again. Then when we were getting really good, she left, on June 4th. She was only ours on lease, but she felt like she was ours. We knew she would leave someday now, but I guess I didn't know how hard it would be. I wish I could say the words that mean most to me, But I know that they aren't true. So if I would say them, I would believe them, and get hurt all over again. I love you Roxy. Take care of yourself, and your baby.

My horsies name is Roxxi..She is a Quarter Horse. Perfect horse. Amazing at trail rides, 4-H, and everything. But she's not cut out for big showing. So to pay for a new horse I have to sell Roxxi..I got her last year. She's such a sweetie..and even tho we haven't been thru much I still love her more than anything. She's my first official horse..and I don't want to see her go, but sometimes in life we have to make sacrifices that might ruin you..but it's worth it in the end. Cute horse.
