http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=350212 - In a land where super-sizing and upgrades rule, a no-frills car with an engine not much bigger than a snowblower's might seem a bit out of place. Enter the diminutive Tata Nano, a $2,500 car unveiled by India's Tata Motors last March. The car, set to make its official North American debut at the Detroit Science Center later in the week, stopped first at Judson University in Elgin Monday night.
Not a chance they can sell the LX model in the US for $2500. All talk but can't deliver.

The Nano in the US? This should be very interesting, and finally another small car to pick on for a while.

This car is the Indian equivalent of the Ford Model T. It will be the first car owned by many people and will improve their lives greatly. From everything I've read, this car is far better than I and many others have expected.

Still cheaper than used cars. Buy new car like this just go to work, perfect. Why cry so lound about gas price?
-Or maybe the japanese will make car run with solar or water and even sell cheaper. American Ford,Chevy...Watch!. The Japanese will not let the wold of small car easy to give up to India. American can build big 1 but small 1 like this...American people did not get used in a small car, but Asia with population and economy now will make Indian sell a lot!
