The spirit Crystal can show you this now, in a cheap and false version. But still, a preview. None of us will be around for the real merger so you may as well take what you can get!

the person who originally conceived, developed and named this theory was Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. btw theories aren't invented. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin was a Jesuit priest and he also was a scientist. i think its only respectful to mention the origins of a theory if not out of respect then to avoid being accused of plagiarism.

This is definitely one of the most interesting theories ever created.

euuh sorry buddy, WE are the omega point.. ;)

@SonOfNye "I can't help but think that if the Omega Point occurs, we'd grow to envy mortality."
Maybe that's why we are here already. (shrugs)
I mean if you are at the Omega Point and get bored, what better way to freshen things up than to download into a particular moment in time and make yourself forget. You could even have a whole bunch of people do that collectively for the particular reason to be able to figure it all out again and remember.

Although things are becoming more complex at a higher rate, the law of entropy still applies. All this means is that we are using up our resources at a higher, unsustainable, rate as a result of this increased complexity. Objects in space appear to be traveling away at a higher rate of speed the farther they are away. This is not an indication of a collapse back into a singularity. This Omega point "theory" (more like hypothesis) is highly speculative.

Now that HD format displays are vernacular and govt decided to halt plans on putting man back into space again, i was like, wtf is it because its now hard for them to cook up some photoshop shit that they did back them, were all the people who were telling about moon landing being an hoax (at whom i used to laugh) telling the truth...With such delusions in my mind i don't even want to get started on mars SO MUCH TO SAY ABOUT IMPOSSIBLE SCIENCE AND OMEGA POINT.
no top comment ok here i go.... i am the omega point

One thing: Frank Tipler was not the man who invented the concept of the Omega Point, it was the Jesuit priest Piere Teilhard de Chardin. Tipler jusy "actualized" it, although I do not agree with his technological god-like interpretation at all.
