My green 9 yr old Tb gelding gave me a birthday present on this day. He proved he is the athlete I felt he was when he came to our barn. He is a big boy at 16.3 h and has no problem with a big fence. He is alot of horse to ride though. But, he is really starting to think and rate. I started him over fences in May inconsistently due to lameness - just didnt have any foot when we got him - And, he is just now starting to get consistently back into regular schooling. I hope he will make as an A/O jumper for me.

  • I have sold Commando to buy a cutting horse! Check out Commando in Houston this year. He is making his show debut at the Great Southwest shows in Katy, Tx under the name of Red Label! his new owner is Julia Drumheller, and he is now trained by Lee Johnson at Crossroad Sporthorses in Magnolia, Tx.

  • really nice job reminds me of my mare tb mare point and go this is cute

  • Thank you!

  • I really like the way you stayed out of his way. Gorgeous horse, how is he going now?

  • Why thank you. And, that was the exercise. Stay out of this green horse's way and see if he can figure out how to rate the fence. The horse was lame for awhile after this. But, he is now back on a program and is doing very well. He will start out in the level 2 and 3 jumpers this year and hopefully do the level 4 mini prix at Estes Park.

  • Just to clarify, he was lame unrelated to this school. He ended up with greasy heel a month afterwards, but is on the mend. Wow, that is a difficult thing to deal with.

  • Wow... that femalefox07 is something. You did an amazing job riding him. You stayed completely out of his way and let him do his job. He is not an easy ride to a huge fence like that... I know, I bought him. :) Good video.

  • wow how to collapse on ur horses neck everyone should just watch you

  • the only one on youtube that is actually 5ft

  • WOW!!!

    This is so cool!

  • he's a good jumper for being green (: you rode well, but you should sit back a little on approach to the fence; if he'd chosen to refuse you would have been off! But good technique over the fence (:

  • lovely position!!

    amazing horse!!
