Here is part 2 of the 1984 Candlepin Championship, where 2 of my favorite bowlers face off. Here is most of the match between Paul Berger and Tim Lipke, with some AMAZING shots in there.
What was the "very, very special" prize that Don Gillis described at about 9:05 for anyone who gets a triple strike? They did give away the $1,000 per triple back in the 80's, right?
I never knew that paul berger had jet black hair

It was a trip to Singapore. It was mentioned in the 1985 True Value show that the late Rich Pedroli "won for his mother, a trip to Singapore"

I think Jim is about 60 years old, for he's been on the Senior Tour (Age 50+) for a while now.

Frame 3 for Tim was a BIG shot coz it started a great run for him.

No wonder I wasn't scared of the ball return back then. It wasn't blocking my way on either side when I went down the approach!!! :)

Anyone know how old Jim is? I'm guessing he's in his Mid-50's.
