FIRST BT5 tutorial on YouTube !

to get pyrit working on BT5

first install the nvidia driver from the nvidia site.

once done do the following at the terminal

svn checkout http://pyrit.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ pyrit_svn

sudo apt-get install g++
sudo apt-get install python-dev
sudo apt-get install zlib1g-dev
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
sudo apt-get install libpcap-dev
sudo apt-get install python-scapy

now cd into /pyrit_svn/pyrit

and type

sudo python setup.py build
sudo python setup.py install

then download the nvidia-toolkit from

http://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-toolkit-32-downloads

go to "CUDA Toolkit for Ubuntu Linux 10.04" (near bottom) and select the 32bit or 64bit depending on what O/S you have

now do (for me anyway since i have x64) sh cudatoolkit_3.2.16_linux_64_ubuntu10.04.run

now cd to /pyrit_svn/cpyrit_cuda

and type

sudo python setup.py build
sudo python setup.py install

and thats it you should be done !
