History was made on September 28, 2010, when the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus train and Union Pacific Railroad's "Challenger," No. 3985, joined together, literally, between Speer, Wyo., and Denver, Colo., to celebrate U.S. railroad heritage. Challenger pulled the mile-long circus train, packed full of international performers, exotic animals, and all the equipment needed to present the all-new Ringling Bros. Circus, Barnum's FUNundrum!SM, which makes a two-week stop in Denver. Union Pacific's No. 3985 continues on a six-state tour from Cheyenne, Wyo., to Gorham, Ill.

  • @BCS716 Union Pacific and the Ringling Brothers chartered the chopper. So yeah, "F" them for wanting to film something they paid!

  • That helicopter was the most annoying thing of this chase. It ruined at least two of my own videos (and countless videos of others) with its buzzing around overhead. Thank goodness for the Photoshop clone tool, or it would've ruined my photos as well.

  • Beautiful. True beast with elegance

  • @Chase1609 a mile and a half with #3985 0n the point it is longer

  • That was Awesome!

  • @gtokarsk Thats because you can't hear it over the helicopter. So not only did they screw up their own video but any railfan that was trying to get video trackside as well. Thanks whoever chartered the helicopter, you screwed it up for everyone. FU!

  • This is pretty cool, I took pictures of it with conventional diesel power leaving San Diego. It is always a show to watch.

  • Move on over, Casey Junior!

  • 0-37 seconds looks like Terry Ranch aut i didnt see any buffalo herds that would have been over the top

37-46 looks like north side of Eaton,CO

46-50 looking back at terry ranch exit 2 railfans at the bridge and i was one of em

and 1min13 to the end looks like it just cleared Carr southbound. And your helicopter was cool, especially with uploading some video to YouTube!
