Nice engine nice mod's sounds good too i even like the body style! Now this is the first time viewing a australian chrysler product and i agree not like the 225 Slant 6 cyl but a hemi???...if this was true a genuine Hemi the Plugs would be straight down the valve covers i see it to the side of the head like a standard OHV cylinder head?...im confused why call it a hemi?

They are more correctly referred to as "low hemispherical" heads (ie 35% of the half) I believe so they left it as Hemi for advertising. Chrysler now call engines Hemi that are not at all Hemi.

@ECCCxMECH THIS IS AN AUSSIE STRAIGHT 6 HEMI !! AN THAT IS WHY !!! WE HERE IN THE STATES...DIDN'T GET THE "KOOL" STUFF. THERE WAS GUY HERE THAT BOUGHT A CHARGER HEMI 6 THERE ,ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. IT TOOK HIM 10 YEARS TO GET IT HERE TO THE STATES...BECAUSE OF "CUSTOMS LAWS" !! BUT, THIS IS AN AUSSIE HEMI 6, NOT AN AMERICAN CHRYSLER 225 SLANT 6.

funny as it sounds i love the sound of the old reduction gear starter motor on the hemi`s i even put one on my ve valiant slant 6 when i used to have the ole girl i`m fukn kicking myself that i sold all my valiants, i have to get one pretty soon they just go and go forever

No, HEMI 6's were only sold in Australia. The HEMI 6 isn't slanted. The other way to tell is the radiator hose goes right in front of the valve cover on the HEMI, while the slant 6 is more off to the side towards the intake manifold. Other than that, they're similar looking engines. Of course the HEMI 6 is also more powerful than the slant 6.

e49 mate. its an awesome feeling when the motors are given a heap. you can feel the power even when sitting in the passenger seat. i love it.
