Ever in search of a master, no matter how unwilling, Charlie winds up on a plantation down South and tries to force himself on the owner, a Confederate Colonel. Unfortunately, the Colonel already has a pet bulldog, "Belvedere."
@legion999 These WB cartoons were just as violent as "Happy Tree Friends", at least in their original uncut versions. What we actually see is an edited version after the Hays office ordered many of the harsher violent scenes to be axed. If it wasn't for the strict Hays code back in the day, a lot of these cartoon shorts would have been graphically violent, and have also contained some profanity, nudity, and sex. Even these final-released versions have scenes that aren't suitable for kids.
