Ben Ferguson is/was a Conservative radio talkshow host. His views of Republicans being solely a corporation based party are quite clear in this video. Thom Hartmann highlights the differences in the view of the world of corporations and worker pay and quite clearly life in this video. FreeSpeechTV FreeSpeech.org ThomHartmann.Com

and then pat themselves on the back for a job well done because these public sector jobs artificially bump up the jobs statistics. On top of that they continue to blame the previous administration for our current predicament when this current administration has now spent TRILLIONS of dollars with virtually ZERO results!!

  • @JustCallEmHowISeeEm Corporate profits are higher NOW than ANY TIME IN HISTORY BAR NONE!!

The WORLD and DOMESTIC ECONOMIC view of the USA is that it is the #1 investment as Treasuries are as low as ever and as the stock market crapped out ALL that money went to US TREASURIES. The GOP has killed 337,000 jobs with their cuts.Zero results means slid GDP results since the Stim which 114 GOP members THANKED him for in newspapers? Your arguements are ALL dispelled by anyone who is awake.

  • I love the way he keeps saying "an economic colony of Asia". I wonder if Thom knows where the money that is currently funding the government is coming from? A little country called...China? Now thats a real race to the bottom. What an intellectual load of hogwash. Ben Ferguson is right, industry and job growth are the only ways to improve the economy.

  • @Shawnserious1 IF your industry provides $2/day jobs then where is the economic growth for the USA? HOWEVER if you create tarrifs blocking importation of goods here so that the manufacturing of goods here is cheaper THEN you have a closed economic loop where profits can go back into this nation and then you get growth. Otherwise the Conservative concept of offshoring to help corporations is in play which kills the richer of the nations namely us.

  • @Shawnserious1 Kinda makes you wish the Republicans didnt drive up the deficit in the first place huh?

  • Ferguson is sad.

  • (#2) ...which incentivizes individuals to start small businesses in this country. On top of that their policies force our existing domestic corporations to outsource many of our manufacturing and production jobs just to be able to stay competitive. Instead the Obama administration wants to focus on redistributing the wealth, creating hundreds of thousands of PUBLIC sector, GOVERNMENT jobs (which COSTS tax payers money and produces NOTHING for our country)...

Thom Hartman is an idiot.. On one hand he says the economy is stimulated by lower and middle class individuals having money to spend and then on the other hand discounts the fact that Mitsubishi built a plant that will employ 40,000 lower-middle income families. In addition, the reason the only jobs being created in this country are by foreign companies is b/c the current administration has done NOTHING to create an economic environment...
