But what are you guys, my country has long been one big sham. We are still the most tenacious and powerful heavy machinery, and the new design even more powerful. But some little development, nothing is produced. Policy is decided, and the economy are made. Personally, in my town closed in the 90s as much as 4 now required of the enterprise. Well done, and we washed the home in the toilet, believing in an imaginary freedom and prosperity. Do not repeat our mistakes.

@riverman83 France and Britain have btw been the most powerful superpowers on the planet. China has economical power projection and within 10 years they'll have military power projection as well.

It has to be admited the Russian navy's equipment is quite old. Almost ships were legacy of Soveit Union. The Russian should downsize and update the equipment to keep their capacity. Even Chinese navy has exceed Russian navy's, benefiting from the increasing ecomonic capacity.

@harryhu008 It depends how you look at it. China has a far better ship building industri than Russia today. That and a good economy makes for a short construction time. It takes Russia years to complete say a frigate but China can get one ready in less then six months. Russia do however still lead in ex submarine technology, missiles ecs. China still buys and copies Russian equipment becouse they cant produce them thierself yet. This may change in another 10 years.
