On Saturday, the Toronto Blue Jays hosted the 2008 World Series Champion, Pheledelphia Phillies. This is an inter-league series. The Phillies have a potent lineup from power hitting Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, Jimmy Rollins, Jayson Werth and other players.
Scott Rolen, now with the Jays, broke in with the Phillies. Playing against the Phillies brought back memories when the Blue Jays won the World Series against the Phillies in 1993. Do you still remember that? Anyone was there to witness Joe Carter's dramatic walk off 2-run homer to win the game for the Blue Jays?
However, in this game, the Jays lost the most lop-sided game this season, losing 10-0 to the Phillies. Nevertheless, it was a great sunny cool day.
