  • Ive owned alpha a55 for 6 months. Its amazing, but word of caution.. When shooting video, the sensor gets hot and shuts down, there is no firmare upgrade to sort this out, sony have this on to protect the camera from being damaged due to overheating, it recently shut down half way through the grooms speach. Luckily my trusty panasonic hmc150 was there to take over. But i do love the a55 , i just hope they sort there shit out on the a77

  • This is one very "nonchalant" video. =p

  • i mean sony is known for their innovations in video. and canon with their photography technology, respectively

  • How do you manually focus the Canon 550D on a steadicam or glidecam? I'm guessing you can't, so would it be better to get a Sony A55 with autofocus? Thanks

  • it's entertaining reading these arguments over which camera is better...it really all depends on the user. you can get great shots from either camera. Yes the sony has autofocus but amazon lists it with a kit lens at around 800 dollars....the t2i is closer to 5 or 600. I've had my t2i for over a year and have no problem pulling focus manually. Quit bickering over which camera is "better". they both kick ass and are reasonably priced. Just buy one and go make movies or take pics...sheesh!!!

  • @jimmyruffin1066 get a battery grip that will solve it. the heat is coming from the lit-ion battery. same goes for all other slr

  • SONY α55!!

  • @chefpetey Widely flawed??? How come the professional reviewers never mentioned this? so where was the flaw again?
