fantastic bird we have them around our place most of the year they love eating the seeds from the slash pines which are a exotic pine from florida usa. at our place they go for the witchity grubs in our acacia trees once or twice a year . up close they amazing to see very powerful beak and a very big bird . haven't seen them in months come to think of it , there habitat is disapearing very rapidly due to everyone wanting to live in se queensland .houses and people more important than nature eh.
