I've made this piece before, but it didn't outcome well due to my lazy efforts so eventually I redid it from scratch. This is intended to sound as a rock band performance, with all the common players, effects, and style while keep the feel from the original.
The original remix I avoided certain things, like guitar plucking, to reduce the required effort by removing attacks, certain notes, even instruments. This time though, I decided to "go all out". I've not only rebalanced every instrument by intelligently give them more exclusive place in the sound spectrum but I also more arcticulations and effects, example would be the stops & slides on the Steel Acoustic being picked up as would a real one. All sounds are still synthetic, but I did everything to close to authentic as possible with from the player noises, to distortions, to hard hard something is being played (MIDI term 'Velocity').
This took several months to make, and several more days to revise so I might not consider another tune from the game to remake.

I've done rock, but doing Rave/Techno Instrument isn't my strong point, so the synth part are decent but is underbalanced compared to the rest of the sounds.
My Rock'n Roll skill are grand though from just cheap synths.
It's based off another's creator's MIDI, and added missing notes and correct instruments. Much of it was rearranged to fit the wanted rock style. The 2nd Guitar also plucked, muted, etc as well as distortions.
As always, all authentic guitar effects, only the Guitar notes themselves are MIDI. Drums from an 80s drum machine (ex. Drums set from 'Jefferson Starship' band).
The steel guitar was fingerplayed (soft attack to prevent recording buzz), so no "twang" noise from plucking. Bass was however, plucked, muted, etc. interchanged throughout play and with heavy chorus to balance the high treble range off.
Play just as would a real rock band:
Steel Acoustic player
TC Electro player
Bass player
Power Drum player (80 drum machine)
Synth/Sampler player
Drums sounds fake, synth is weak, the guitar is perfect.
3/5. not gonna thumbs down.

@galiant609 I already told on desc. synth isn't my strong point.
Also drums are fake, everything is fake...difference is the drums are inentionally fake.
During the 80s, rock bands would use "drum machines" as their kits.
Drum machines are like your now-of-day "Guitar Hero" drum set.
Rock artists played drums that were completely synthetic, but still used sticks, this allowed the drums to be performed "gated" allowing more effects freedom.
I use the same technique, gated electro drums.

Well, I have to ask, any chance of tab?

@TheGreatIronbug Well, I'll just say this, this was midi and therefore doesn't have tab..but..making a tab would be easy and sure I could conjure one for you. I have a guitar, I'll just write down the chords and fret-notes.

This is great but main synth is WEAK.

@McSquidification I already admitted the synth not done as good, just something I'm going to learn more on doing. I can do classical, rock, pop, etc though just fine at least.
