Like him or hate him, Raj speaks of a real and sensitive issue which resonates with a large population in Maharashtra. I believe his anti-UP/Bihari rhetoric is overplayed in the national media.
The reality is large swaths of poor people from UP/Bihar have now settled in every remote corner of Maharashtra. Unfortunately, they often bring the culture of feudal politics & fail to imbibe the local ethos of a new place.
