  • It's also on the 10" "The Family Danced".

  • Fan-tas-tic. I love the katatzke at the end

  • This is available on a CD called "Simcha Time" (World Pacific). garblue got it right; it was a bunch of LA studio misicians (and in the case of the Ellmans, contractors!") It's a really good cd

  • Yes, that is Mickey Katz!

  • das ist eine ganz tolle aufnahme, danke für's posten :))

  • @garblue52 Here are the musicians from the Greatest Shticks album, maybe it is the same violinist? Mickey Katz (vocals, clarinet); Benny Gill (violin); Mannie Klein (trumpet); Si Zentner (trombone); Nat Farber (piano); Larry Breen (bass); Sam Weiss (drums); Jack Constanzo (bongos).

  • This song is from the album Simcha Time, or Mickey Katz play for Weddings, Bar Mitzvas, and Brisses. Mickey on Clarinet, some of the other musicians may be

trumpet player Ziggy Elman; trumpet Manny Klein, trombone Si Zentner; pianist/arranger Nat Farber; and drummer Sam Weiss. Haven't found out the name of the violinist, so if anyone knows , please post it.
