@sopitabo the leader of the chechens is asking a russian of military ranking to not lead his soldiers into grozny. he sais spare the mothers and families of the men. He sais both you and i will die. The russian commander replies that he is recieving orders from up top and cant stop.

@powmful the muslim fighters of chechenia were not elite commandos, they use to be civilians, some fighters were in the USSR army, and some others were foreigners (arabs and turks) but mostly, they are armed civilians fighting with no air support and no heavy armed vehicules. In the russian side, there was air support, heavy tanks etc etc... and without mention the elite Spetsnaz troops (nearly all of them fought in chechenia) SO DUDE SHUT UP AND DON'T TALK ABOUT THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW.

Belive it or not, they wernt poorly armed (most of them were decently armed), and many of the Russians were conscripts while the Chechn. were fighting for Jihad.
