The Marine Animal Rescue Program at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration rehabilitates and releases dozens of seals every year. Their latest release, however, was more unusual than most. This particular Harp Seal's months of rehabilitation included two endoscopy procedures and a surgery to remove rocks from its stomach. Before being released, it was fitted with a satellite tracking device to help monitor its progress back into the wild.
