  • these schools can all lower tuition, if they change the way their organization is run...there is so much waste at univerisities.

  • What would happen if we didn't have Universities any more. Instead we had mentors and teachers who were paid to teach hands on. Med students were to get 12 of on hands experience. They would be much better off and the doctors would get paid quite well.

  • @BlackAdam08 You forget something fundamental: if you don't invest enough time and you lack the appropriate mindset for studying in an university then you're wasting those money because you'll never get a degree.

Even if higher education was free it would still be very precious to have, simply because not many people can pull it off.

  • This seems like a good way to protest something :-)

  • the solution to CU and other university tuition hikes is here!! Just watch...

  • @jennyclarkbar ...You may "asusme" anything you'd like (whatever the heck "asusme" means). I'm a college graduate & I did get help. I called it "a student loan". After I graduated, I paid off that loan as fast as possible so that it wouldn't hang over my head for 15 years. Once it was gone, I then bought a house & car. With my kids approaching college age, I told them I would help them with their tuition by either co-signing a student loan or by matching their payments dollar-for-dollar.

  • @BlackAdam08 may I asusme that you are not a college student or parent of one, or that you got help in paying for your college? College loans are like having a mortgage, and before you can even get a decent job. People are still paying off their loans 10, 15 years later. It's hard to get a good job without a bachelors degree, and most people need to continue on to a masters degree. It's not as simple as you tseem to think.
